Instrumental in establishing and growing the Mekar brand in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. Successfully conceptualized and implemented a low-cost back-office technical support team, creating consistent revenue streams and securing over 1000 prestigious mega-project references.

With over 1800+ major installations in Middle East region, Mekar offers high quality Eurovent Certified Products with competitive pricing structure and reliable after sales service and spare parts. Have been instrumental in establishing the brand in Middle East regions such as UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain & Egypt.

Royal Gulf LLC represented various agency products such as:

  • Was responsible for overall functioning of the company. Koohiji Group (currently KGT Group) wanted to consolidate various business segment and sold their controlling stake in Royal Gulf to Mr. Francese Boaro, promotor of Mekar Srl. New Mekar Air Handling Units LLC was formed in year 2010, which lead to establishing UAE manufacturing facilities with full technology transfer.     Achievements

    • Cultivated strong ties with key MEP contractors and consultants, driving AED 1.3 Billion in revenue across 1000+ projects over 29 years.
    • Successfully launched operations in Oman, Bahrain, appointed distributors in Kuwait.
    • Penetrated the Qatar market by securing brand specifications and orders during the early entry phase.
    • Conducted market exploration in Egypt and Sri Lanka to assess expansion opportunities.
    • Secured product specifications with leading MEP consultants across the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.

    • Responsible for P & L and oversaw all company funtions such as Sales, HR, Finance, Consultant Specifications, Collections, at Royal Gulf LLC for key regional projects.
    • Established backend application engineering support operations in India, enhancing operational efficiency, timely submission of tenders, which helped in brand presence across regions.
    • Launched new business operations in middle east countries with minimal capitalexpenditure by prioritizing brand presence and product specifications with consultants, later setting up offices only after securing major contracts in those regions.

    • The Retail Fitout Division was established in 2005 after securing the Dubai Mall main contract, became a significant growth driver, contributing to 40% of the company’s revenue ensuring stable cash flow.
    • Mekar being one of the agency products under Royal Gulf LLC, launched in 1992 in Dubai with no references and brand image. Today, it has evolved into a formidable and leading brand in the air conditioning industry, specializing in chilled water products. What once seemed impossible then has now been realized through passion, hard work and consistency.
